Women now were able to join the work force and many labored in factories and plants to build weapons and machines while some women had went into the army.
Hispanics and African American were also enlisted and some were able to go to work at factories. But, after the war the majority of the jobs that were there before were given to the White males when they came back. Women had gone back to being housewives, but some still wanted to be able to go into the work field again. The Minorities were displaced after the war.
