4x5=20
4x4=16
20+16=36
I multiplied 4x5 and 4x4 because he worked for. 4. Summer. Weekends. And 4 and 5. Hours each and then added to. Find. The total and. Got. 36 as my answer

Carlos worked a total of 36 hours at the farmers market.
I know my answer is reasonable because:
1. Multiply 5 by 4
2. Multiply 4 by 4
3.Add both of the products to get your answer
