Opposite numbers [additive inverse] are the same distance from 0 on opposite sides of the number line.

▶Picture it as the opposition of 7/2 would it have to be -7/2
▶Option B. -7/2 would be your answer
Additive Inverse Simplified
▶Negative will change into a positive
▶Positive will change into a negative
▶It can't be A. because its not the problem
▶B. would be your answer because its rhe option of the problem
▶C.wouldnt be your answer because its not the problem; its the additive inverse of option A.
▶D. wouldnt be your answer because its the same thing as the problem
