Answer: Hamlet kills Claudius.

The main conflict throughout the play is that Hamlet wants to kill Claudius in order to avenge his father's death. However, he is too indecisive, and cannot bring himself to do so. However, towards the end of the play, Hamlet finally manages to kill Claudius. This is the climax of the play.
