The width of a box is 5 cm. the length of the box is two times the width. the height is 10 cm longer than the length. what is the volume of the box? (v = lwh)

The answer is C

Explanation:

You Multiply 5x2 because the lenght is TWO times the widht . SO that equal 10. and because the height is 10 cm longer than the length you know that is is automatically 20 becuase it is 10 times longer. So you Multiply 5x10x20 and you have your answer :)

Length: 2x the length of the width so 5 x 2 = 10cm
Height: 10cm longer than the length so 10 + 10 = 20cm
V = lwh
V = 10 x 5 x 20
V = 1,000cm
