so, check the picture below

using the "far arc - near arc" equation... we get that, solve for "x"

and the angle "y" is just 1/2 of the arcCD

we know arcBC is 112, since you'd had already found "x"... we know what arcBC is also, now, a circle only has 360 degrees
so 360 - 112 - x, is the arcCD, and "y" is just half that
