A candy store employee uses 3 jars from one of the boxes to put on top of the ice-cream. Which function shows the relationship between y, the total number of jars of chocolate sauce remaining in the pantry, and x, the number of boxes in the pantry?A. y = 7xB. 10x + 7C. 10x - 3D. y = 10x

Variables:

y: total number of jars of chocolate sauce remaining

x: number of boxes

Each box contains 10 jars of chocolate sauce. Then, x boxes contain 10x jars

If 3 jars are used, the remaining jars are:

y = 10x - 3
