A=LW

where

L is the length of rectangle

W is the width of rectangle

In this problem we have


A=216\ m^(2)

so


216=LW -------> equation A


W=(2)/(3)L ------> equation B

Substitute equation B in equation A and solve for L


216=L[(2)/(3)L]


(216*3)/(2)=L^(2)


L^(2)=324


L=18\ m
