The circular scale with
radius (r)= 24 cm
the central angle(C) = 96 deg
Using the formula
Arc length = 2pir(C/360)
Arc length = 2 pi(24 cm)(96/360)
Arc length = 64pi/5
The needle on the circular scale travelled 64pi/5 as it travel from the origin when Charlie placed four tomatoes on it.
