The correct answer is - A. a region with productive farmland and exciting cities.

The southeastern part of Brazil is the part that is the most productive, vibrant, active, exciting, in the country. In this part, there's large areas of high quality arable land, and it is extensively used for production of multiple types of plants, both for the home market, and for export. Also, in this part we have Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, which are the most populated cities in the country, where most of the economy is located, tons of carnivals and manifestations, and in general very vibrant, interesting, unique life.
