700+80 would already equal 780 so if you add 1, (left side would equal 781) (right side 780+1=781) so n=1

Answer:

The given equation is true for any value of n.

Explanation:

The given equation is

700+80+n=780+n

780+n=780+n

Taking all the terms on the left sides of the equation.

780+n-780-n=0

Combine like terms to solve the above equation.

(780-780)+(n-n)=0

(0)+(0)=0

0=0

LHS=RHS for any value of n.

Therefore the given equation is true for any value of n.
