Line Q has a slope of one half and crosses the y axis at 3. Line S has a slope of one half and crosses the y axis at negative 2. How many solutions are there for the pair of equations for lines Q and S?

Line Q's equation would be y=1/2x+3 and line S's equation is Y=1/2x-2. You would compare them. So you would get 1/2x+3=1/2X-2. Subtract 1/2X from both sides and you get 3=-2. So the answer is these lines have no solution.
