The light rays always travel in a straight line but they reflect or refract sometimes depending on the medium

Answer:

light will show the phenomenon of diffraction in which light rays get deviated from its path and reached into the region of darkness.

Step-by-step explanation:

When light is passing through a small slit or narrow window then due to the corners of the small slit or window light gets diffracted and then it will deviated from its path

Due to deviation of light we will get alternative maximum and minimum intensity of light.

This phenomenon is known as diffraction of light

so light will travel in straight line again but it gets diverge in different directions which will show us maximum and minimum intensity on the screen alternatively due to superposition
