Why this worked. Think about what we did, play around with some numbers, try to visualize it.

Double it
Add 10 to that number
Divide it by 2
Subtract your original number

Your answer is 5

10 divided by 2 equals 5 and your original number added then subtracted would be 0, so 0 + 5 equals 5
