Answer:

Mantle

Step-by-step explanation:

The mantle is the layer that is between the core and the crust. The mantle is divided into two parts i.e. the upper mantle and the lower mantle. This mantle rocks are mostly comprised of magnesium and some amount of iron as well as silicate rocks. These rocks are highly rich in olivine and pyroxene minerals. These rocks are much denser in comparison to the crustal rocks and less denser than the rocks of the inner and the outer core. The mantle region forms a total of about 80-85% of the earth's total volume. This is the layer in which the convection current generates because of the heat radiated from the interior of the earth.
