Hi there

The total concentration will decrease. The concentration is measured in M. Since, you are adding more solvent, concentration will decrease

Step-by-step explanation:

When we dilute a solution then it means we are increasing the volume of solvent into the solution.

Therefore, there occurs a decrease in the concentration of solute.

Whereas when a solution is concentrated then it means concentration of solute is more than the concentration of solvent into the solution.

Thus, we can conclude that in a dilution, solvent is added to a given amount of a concentrated solution then there occurs a decrease in total concentration.
