What I did I converted ml to l by multiplying 500*.001 and then use the formula mol/l 4.5/0.5=9

1000 mL = 1 L (exact conversion).

(4.5 mol / 500 mL) * (1 L / 1000 mL) = (4.5) / (500

1000 mL = 1 L (exact conversion).

(4.5 mol / 500 mL) * (1000 mL / 1L ) = (4.5 * 1000) / (500) M ;
= (4.5 * 10) / 5 M ;
= (4.5 * 2) M = 9.0 M
