1) the mean is the sum of the data, divided by the number of values. In this case, we have 6 numbers.

Let's add them and divide by 6:

(59+14+78+33+135+95)/(6)=(414)/(6)=69

The mean is 69

2) To find the median, we need to order the data set from smallest to biggest:

42,23,10,4,25,22,29,33,40,40\Rightarrow4,10,22,23,25,29,33,40,40,42

And then we need to find the value in the middle

But, since there is a even number of data (10) there is two values in the middle: 25 and 29, then we we need to calculate the mean between these two numbers:

(25+29)/(2)=27

The median is 27

3) The mode is the number which appears most often.

But in this data set, there is no repeating numbers, then there is no mode.
