What is the area of a triangle whose base is 15 centimeters and whose height is 10 centimeters?

im having trouble understanding, explanation would be great thx :)

I might be wrong but try 150 as an answer hope this helps.

It should be easy.
Triangle area = (1 / 2) * base * height (see attached graphic)
Triangle area = (1 / 2) * 15 * 10
Triangle area = (1 / 2) * 150
Triangle area = 75 square centimeters.
