Give 3 visible examples of motion that is caused by forces from non-living things

1. Your friend jumps, then lands due to gravity.
2. Someone pushes onto an ice rink, and continues to move due to (i think) friction (?).
3. You're in a school bus and you stand in the middle of the aisle, jump, and land where you had previously because you're at the same speed as the bus.

Answer:

1) A ball in a ramp: the ball will go down the ramp, because of the gravitational force.

2) If you sit in a mattress, the mattress will squeeze a bit, when you stand up, you can see that the mattress takes the original shape again, this is because there is an "elastic" force that restitutes the original shape.

3)If you want to move something, for example a chair, you will notice a little resistance. This resistance is caused by the friction on the ground acting on the chair, this is friction force.
