A group of workers is harvesting strawberries at a constant rate. An equation that represents the baskets of strawberries the workers picked over period of time ( in hours) is y=5x+5

(a) what are the slope and y-intercept for the equation that represents a basket of strawberries the workers picked over a period of time?

(b) what are the rates of the change and initial amount? Explain the meaning of the rate of change and the initial amount for the situation?

a) Slope = 5, for the y intercept plug 0 into x, so y=5(0)+10 =10. So the y-intercept is (0,10)
c) I added the graph below. First you plot the y intercept, (0,10). Then count 5 up and 1 right and plot a point because the slope is (5/1) "slope is easy and fun, rise over run." You can go the opposite way too, 5 down and 1 left and then plot a point. Plot 5-7 points. The x-axis is time, because that is the independent variable and the y-axis is baskets of berries because that is the dependent variable.
