Final answer:

You can make slime without glue by using alternative materials such as clingy food wrap, fibers, or other substances that mimic the properties of natural rubber or Silly Putty. Cornstarch mixed with water can create a non-Newtonian fluid, and xanthan gum with water also creates a slime-like substance. You can demonstrate the properties of these materials in ways similar to Silly Putty or as stiff and clear plastic applications.

Step-by-step explanation:

Making Slime without Glue

You can create slime for your science project without the need for glue. Slime can be made using alternative substances like clingy food wrap or fibers for textiles, resembling some properties similar to natural rubber. An interesting substitute for glue in making slime is the classic toy Silly Putty, which can be demonstrated in various ways, such as in the famous Ghostbusters demo.

For a basic slime recipe without glue, you can use household ingredients like cornstarch and water to create a non-Newtonian fluid that has properties similar to slime. Alternatively, mixing ingredients like xanthan gum found in foods with water can result in a slime-like substance. With creativity, the applications of such slime can be extended to stiff, clear plastics or for creating exciting textures in crafts.

slime is made because of the chemical reaction between borax, and PVC. search for other products that have PVC. Hopefully you have borax though?
