Why are plants so important to ecosystems?

Describe an ecosystem and identify the different trophic levels.

Describe what happens to energy as it is transferred through an ecosystem.

Explain what happens in the carbon cycle, giving specific examples of some of the steps.

Plants are essential to the balance of nature and in people's lives. ... plants are the only thing that are able to convert the suns energy into food and in the process convert the carbon dioxide that animals make eating each other and plants back into oxygen. And that is just for starters

Plants are so important because they are the base of the food pyramid/food chain.

An ecosystem is an area with organisms (like plants and animals) and other things in it.

The energy is decreased by 10% as it's transferred.

Idk what the answer for this one is.

Photosynthesis is basically how plants make food.

I hope most of this helps
