In this kind of figures is true:


\begin{gathered} EB\cong BF \\ and \\ CG\cong CF \end{gathered}

Since:


BC=BF+CF

Then:


\begin{gathered} BC=5\operatorname{cm}+10\operatorname{cm} \\ BC=15\operatorname{cm} \end{gathered}
