Explanation:

Mean: 5 + 10 + 12 + 15 + 20 = 62/5 = 12.4

12.4 - 5 = 7.4

12.4 - 10 = 2.4

12.4 - 12 = 0.4

12.4 - 15 = 2.6

12.4 - 20 = 7.6

Mean Absolute Deviation: 7.4 + 2.4 + 0.4 + 2.6 + 7.6 = 20.4/5 = 4.08
