So in this type of equation we would use the distributive property.

8x-29.6.

Nothing else could be done with this. So your correct answer is, 8x - 29.6

To find this, you must first use the distributive property.
8 • x = 8x
8 • -3.7 = -29.6

8(x-3.7) = 8x - 29.6
