Mostly the north. In the South farmers had slaves to run their farms while the north didn't. The farmers wanted to keep slaves and Lincoln was all for freeing them so the north would've voted more then the south

The North of the United States because he thought that slavery should not exist. North believed that but the south already had slaves and thought he was wrong. The south wanted Slavery to continue.
