The rate of growth is faster in the (10 - 14) age group and slows down after the age of 14. After the age of 16 the growth is the slowest

Answer:

The bone grows at a faster rate between the ages of 12 and 14.

Step-by-step explanation:

To appreciate this, we must analyze the slope of the straight line at each 2-year interval. From 2 to 12 years old the positive slope is slight, then we observe that from 12 to 14 years old the slope increases significantly, and then from 14 to 16 years old the slope decreases a little. In the final stretch from 16 to 20 the slope tends to be horizontal, so it decreases significantly.

The more the straight line tends to be vertical, the higher the rate of growth.

Have a nice day!
