Given the diagram for a wooden deck

The scale used is :

(1)/(4)in=1ft

Convert the given dimension to the actual dimensions

so,

\begin{gathered} (1)/(4)in\colon1ft=\text{given:actual} \\ \text{Actual}=4\cdot\text{given} \end{gathered}

So, the actual dimensions are : 16 ft , 12 ft , 8 ft , 12 ft

So, the perimeter will be :

16+12+8+12=48ft

So, the answer is option d. 48 ft
