Question

If 15 baseballs weigh 75 ounces, how many baseballs weigh 15 ounces

well i got 5 balls weight 15 ounces because if you divide 75 ounces by 15 ounces then it will give you 5...... but in other questions ive seen the answer is 3 to this same problem but how? 3 times 15 ounces only gives you 45..............and 75 divided by 3 gives you 25 which isnt right..... can someone explain and possibly answer

The answer is the because What you got was the ratio. For every 1 ball it weighs 5 oz (1:5) so you would multiply 5 by three to get 15. I hope this helped ^^
