I will calculate the equations
g(x),
slope is -8/2=-4
y intercept is y=6
g(x)=-4x+6


f(x)
slope is 4/2=2
y int is -3
f(x)=3x-2

so

g(x)=kf(x) means
-4x+6=k(3x-2)
divide both sides by 3x-2
-2=k

k=-2
