The solution is 86%. To solve this problem, Use the formula for conditional probability.

P(Ipod|Car) = P(Car and Ipod)P(Car).

I hope this helps!

Answer:

C)86%

Explanation:

We are given that

Students have a car=60%

Students have a car and Ipod=70 %

We have to find the probability that a student with a car also has an Ipod.

It means we have to find the probability
P(Ipod/car)

Probability that a student has a car=0.6

Probability that a student have both car and Ipod=0.7

The probability that a student that a student with a car also has an IPod=
(0.6)/(0.7)=(6)/(7)* 100=86%

Using formula of conditional probability:P(A/B)=
(P(A\capB))/(P(B))

Answer :C)86 %
