Translate to an equation, then solve 15+4x=3X-7

15+4x=3x-7
-3x -3x
15+x=-7
-15 -15
x=-22

15 + 4x = 3x - 7

Subtract 3x from both sides, as well as subtracting 15 from both sides.

4x - 3x = -7 - 15

Add like terms.

x = -22
