Well, there are 60 children. And 3 boys for every 1 girl.
3:1
3 + 1 = 4
60/4 = 15
15 x 1 =
15
There were 15 girls in the class and 45 boys.

there are 15 girls. 15 times 3 is 45 and 45 plus 15 equals 60
