Sally received a $141 gift card for a coffee shop. Sally used it to buy coffee that cost $2.43 per pound. Sally has $83.16 left on the gift card. How many pounds of coffee did sally buy? Round to the nearest hundredth.

Explanation:

First we have to find how much she spend on coffee altogether, so our equation is:

141 - 83.16 = 57.84

Then we have to find how many times 2.43 goes into 57.84 so our equation is:

57.84 ÷ 2.43 = 23.8

So Sally bought 23.8 pounds of coffee
