1. In a circle with a radius of 26.9 m, an arc is intercepted by central angle of 9•pi/5 radians.

What is the arc length?
Use 3.14 for pi and round your final answer to the nearest hundredth.

2. In a circle with a radius of 27 2/5 in., an arc is intercepted by a central angle of 7•pi/4 radians.
What is the arc length?
Use 3.14 for pi and round your final answer to the nearest hundredth.

The formula for arc length is S = ∅*r
Where S is the arc length, ∅ is the angle measure in radians, and r is the radius
1. S =
(9(3.14))/(5)*26.9
S = 152.04 m
2. S =
(7(3.14))/(4)*27
(2)/(5)
S = 150.56 in
3. 7.2 = ∅*9.2
∅ = 0.78
