For Bert's, it's $1.00 and $3.00 per mile.
We can set up this equation:
y = 3x + 1
Where x represents the number of miles.
For Madeline's, it's $3.00 at first and $2.00 per mile.
We can set up this equation:
y = 2x + 3
Hope this helps :)
