The Total Surface Area (TSA) of a rectangular prism = 2lw + 2lh + 2wh

The volume of a rectangular prism = l x w x h

where l = Length

w=width

h = height

A) l = 6, w = 7, h =8

TSA = 2(6x7) + 2(6x8) + 2(7x8)

TSA = 84 + 96 +112 = 292 square cm

Volume = 6 x 7 x 8 = 336 cubic cm

B) w=11, l = 11, h = 11

TSA = 2(11 x 11) + 2(11x 11) + 2(11x11)

TSA = 242 + 242 + 242 = 726 Square cm

Volume = 11 x 11 x 11 = 1331 cubic cm

C) h=20, w = 25, l=35

TSA = 2(35 x 25) + 2(35 x 20) + 2(25 x 20)

TSA = 1750 + 1400 + 1000 = 4150 Square cm

Volume = 35 x 25 x 20 = 17500 cubic cm

D) l =3.7, w= 4.3, h=2.4

TSA = 2(3.7 x 4.3) + 2(3.7 x 2.4) + 2(4.3 x 2.4)

TSA = 31.82 + 17.76 +20.64 = 70.22 Square cm

Volume = 3.7 x 4.3 x 2.4 = 38.184 cubic cm
