write the equation as a fraction

-z
----- >2
5

since you're diving by 5 on the side with the variable, then you want to do the opposite on the other side.

you get

-z> 10

you don't want the variable to be a negative, so you want to find the opposite of that.

the equation is now
-1z>10

(the -1 was already there, but it wasn't important until now. 1z = z because it is like 1(z)

since you are multiplying -1 to z you want to divide it from 10.

equation is now
z> -10.

since you divided by a negative just now you have to flip the sign.

equation is now
z< -10
