1) isolate k: 3(-4)>-k
2) combine like terms: -12>-k
3) get rid of the negative sign (NOTE WHEN YOU DIVIDE BY A NEGATIVE IN AN INEQUALITY YOU MUST FLIP THE SIGN): 12
ANSWER: 12
