Explanation:

3 units left,

then -4 should become -4-3 = -7

and 2 units down

then 5 should become 5-2=3

new A'(-7,3)

which is NOT A'(-1,7)

Translated left three (x-3) and down two (y-2) gives you.

(-7,3), (-7, -3), (-4, -1)

So False.
