(2 + x) x (2x-5) = 56

(2+x)(2x-5)=56

2x² - x - 10 = 56
+10 +10

2x² - x = 66

2x² - x - 66 = 0

x = 6

2(6)² - (6) = 66
2(36) - 6 = 66
72 - 6 = 66
66 = 66
