Answer: False

Rock cycle is a process of formation of rocks and it follows multiple alternative pathways and does not simply follows a single path. The rock cycle mainly result in formation of three types of rocks like igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. It mainly follows steps like withering of igneous rock, erosion of particles, deposition of sediments, burial and compaction, formation of sedimentary rock from sediments after compaction, deformation of sedimentary rocks and modifications to form metamorphic rocks, melting of metamorphic rock by hot magma present inside the earth, crystallization of magma into igneous rock. Nature does not follow a single pathway of rock formation, randomly steps are followed in the process of rock formation.
