Hello there.
Question:
If you drew a marble from a bag containing 24 marbles and you had a 1/3 probability of drawing a red marble, How many red marbles are in the bag?
Answer: 1/3 is just a simplified version of the original fraction.
To find this out, get the denominator to the total of 24.
24 / 3 = 8.
You multiply the bottom by 8 therefore you need to do the same to the top.
