SOLUTION

Looking at the question below

The Domain is the x-values, that is the first items, while the range is the y-values, that is the second items.

So for the first question,

Domain is: {6, 3, -6, -1, and -2}

Range is: {7, -8, -2, 4 and -9}

For the second question,

Domain is: {-2, 1, 6, -4 and -5}

Range is: {3, -4, -6, -7, and 4}

Now, in a function, each x-value may have only one unique y-value, but each x-value cannot have two or more y-values. Also each y-value may have more than one x-value.

Looking at the questions above, each x-value has only one unique y-value.

Hence both questions are functions
