eliminate p terms
times 2nd equation by -1
q-2p=-5
add to 2nd equation
q-2p=-5
7q+2p=29 +
8q+0p=24
8q=24
divide both sides by 8
q=3
sub back
2p-q=5
2p-3=5
add 3
2p=8
divide by 2
p=4
p=4
q=3
