What is the function of the lymphatic system?

The Lymphatic system basically is a system of tissues and organs that help rid the body of its toxins and unwanted materials. Its main purpose though its transport something called a Lymph that's kinda like a Trojan horse in the fact that it has white blood cells inside it to fight infection at the site of a wound.
