-Yeast produces spores. The mature spores are known as ascospores. Yeast is the most common one-celled fungi.
-Molds are Hyphomycetes, which are characterized with having filamentous hyphae, and producing airborne spores.
-Mildew is very similar and commonly mistaken for mold. It's major difference from mold is that it is white. Mildew also creates spores.
-Mushrooms are mainly Basidiomycetes and partially Ascomycetes, both of which share a common feature: a macroscopic "Fruiting-body". There are basidia lining the gills of the mushroom. A large number of spores are produced by them.
Fungi do not have chlorophyll and cannot photosynthesize sunlight into food.
All of the listed types of fungi create spores.
