Is Y=x^2+8x linear, quadratic, or exponential functions?

This formula, y=x²+8x is quadratic.

Notice that y = x² + 8x can be written as y = x² + 8x + 0 which is in the

form y = ax² + bx + c and when a function is written in this form,

we know that it's a quadratic function.

Another way to tell that it's a quadratic function

is that the x is raised to the second power.
