1 A person becomes a federal judge by being appointed by the president

2 The Senate must consent on presidential appointments because if not the president would have to much power

3 The duties of a magisture judge is to keep the other judge in check to make sure they do the right thing

4 people's court: for simple cases
state court: for cases the people's court can't solve
supreme court: to make sure laws are consistuiona
